What insurances do we accept?

AETNA, Independence Blue Cross, Independece Adminitrators, UHC/OPTUM, Highmark BC, Community Behavioral Health (Philadelphia County), Community Care Behavioral health (Delaware County)

Does insurance cover therapy?
At Mindful Essence, we understand that navigating insurance can be challenging. Many insurance plans do provide coverage for therapy services, but the specifics can vary. It’s essential to check with your provider to understand your benefits and any potential out-of-pocket costs. Our team is here to assist you in this process, ensuring you have the information you need to make informed decisions about your mental health care. We believe that everyone deserves access to the support they need, and we are committed to helping you explore your options.
How much is Self Pay?

$150.00 for intake session.

$120.00 for 60min Follow up session. 

Do you offer sliding scale?

At Mindful Essence, we understand that financial circumstances can vary greatly. That’s why we are committed to providing a a few sliding scale slots to ensure that everyone has access to our services.  We believe that wellness should be accessible to all, and our team is here to discuss how we can best support your needs. 

How often will I attend therapy?
The frequency of your therapy sessions can vary based on your individual needs and goals. Many clients find that attending weekly sessions provides the best support, especially in the beginning. As you progress, we can adjust the schedule to biweekly or monthly sessions. Our aim is to create a personalized plan that aligns with your journey towards healing and growth.
What occurs during the initial therapy session?

During your first therapy session, we will explore your unique experiences and the challenges you are facing. This is a time for you to share your story and for us to establish a trusting relationship. Together, we will discuss your goals and how we can work towards them. As we move forward, we will determine the best frequency for our sessions, whether that be weekly, biweekly, or monthly, to ensure you receive the support you need on your path to healing.
